Designing websites with purpose and intent

My name is Owen, and I am the owner and lead developer of Avia Digital. I got into programming early on, eventually working as a corporate software engineer right out of college. But while I was working the corporate job, I started building modern websites, setting up text automations, and running digital ads for my parents' restaurant to help them manage the daily chaos. Seeing how much a solid system made their lives easier got me thinking about how I could do this for other contractors and tradesmen who are stretched thin. So, I took my engineering background and started offering my help directly to local trades.

What I found was that a lot of contractors were getting completely taken advantage of by traditional marketing agencies. They were getting charged insane upfront prices for clunky websites that look like they haven't seen a design trend since the year 2000. On top of that, they were forced into strict one-year contracts, leaving them stuck paying for a service they ended up hating. They were in a frustrating spot—wanting to modernize but not knowing who to trust. So, I tweaked my model to fit what they actually need. That is how I came up with two simple plans: a $149/month website and local SEO plan, and a $297/month growth plan that adds AI automation for missed calls, lead follow-up, and reviews. Both cover the custom website in a way that is manageable and won't hurt their bank accounts.
